Setting up Employees

Next you need to set up some Employees, open your Employer and go to the Employee Tab (see below), then click "Add New Employee".

Add Employee - Personal Tab

Please enter details similar to below

Add Employee - Employment Tab

For the Employment Tab - the defaults are acceptable

Add Employee: Employment Tab

Add Employee - Starter/Leaver Tab

For ease set the start date to before the start of financial year (say 1/4/2024)

Add Employee: Starter/Leaver Tab

Add Employee - Payment Tab

Make sure that

  • "Payment Schedule" is set to "Fortnightly"

  • "How is pay worked out" is set to "Based on an hourly rate"

  • Standard hourly rate is set to "£15:00"

Add Employee - Tax, NICs, RTI Tab

Just use the defaults provided

Just use the defaults provided
